We proudly present the Brand New Dance Friday feature, your weekly update on all newly released dance tracks, brought together on one amazing playlist. Featured this week (among many others): BRYNNY! He’s releasing his new single ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ today, and talks about the creation of it in this exclusive interview.
Hey, you are releasing your new single ‘Don’t Say You Love Me‘ today. How did you create this?
Don’t say you love me was an awesome project to make happen. The original idea was just a solid chord progression, filled with lots of summer vibes, inspired by a few beautiful days we’ve been having in Melbourne, and the idea just built on from that. A really catchy timeless melody was what really fun to work with.
What does this record say about your musical evolution as an artist?
Don’t say you love me is only one tune in a series of music this style that I’ve been working on. I think it shows a lot more maturity in my sound along with a diversity of taste. I love all kinds of music so it was fun to do something a little different this time.
Will we still hear some of your signature ‘Kick Bass’ style that your fans adore?
Absolutely ! They are my roots and I have plenty of upcoming records in that style for people to look forward to
The track is featured on Australia’s New Music Friday Spotify playlist. How important is streaming to you?
Firstly, very grateful to be featured on any of Spotify’s big playlists!
Streaming is important to me because in recent times Spotify has become part and parcel of everyday life. I’m focused on making sure the fans can always have an avenue to listen to my music and at the moment Spotify is KILLING IT!
Whats a few of your favourite tracks released this year?
Fate was a big personal favourite of mine, but ‘Thinking Too Much’ takes the cake by far! The response has been phenomenal and the streams are climbing every day
